Keep Our Police
by Josehf L Murchison, almost 6 years agoIn my youth we had a campsite in Rock Hill park. 35 years ago I moved my family up from the city, back then Shelburne had a hospital with an emergency room. Before Dr Wheeler died even after the emergency room closed I could call Dr Wheeler in a minor emergency and get emergency treatment in Shelburne.
I am blind now; so I don’t drive, last year I cut my finger and needed 4 stitches, I couldn’t get the 4 stitches in Shelburne. $75.oo for an ambulance to get to Orangeville ER. Or $60.oo taxi ride to the ER and... Continue reading

Facelift
by G’ma, almost 6 years agoShelburne has some older beautiful homes and storefronts on the Main Street. Why not beautify and show off? Curb appeal has proven itself to generate interest and business. Let’s not let the town disappear and be forgotten.

Small town feeling
by Cindy, about 6 years agoSmall town feeling without a lot of traffic. To be able to walk around the town feeling safe and not crowded or with a busy go go go mentality.

Within reach
by Geer, about 6 years agoI love living in Shelburne because there is a small town feel in my subdivision. I love that the kids are always outside playing and the neighbours are carefully when driving around and they look out for the kids. I love that the No Frills has been really responsive and are quick to get you the things that you would like in the store. i like that for the most part my family has felt welcomed since moving to town.
